DR. BANI ORWA, PHD

Dr. Bani currently manages Stirling Consultants Limited based in Mombasa and Nairobi. His Current consulting assignments cover projects sponsored by UNDP, Universities, National and County Governments, NGOs and private sector. Dr Bani currently sits on two Boards (Ruben Centre and Roberts Insurance). He is a motivational speaker, trainer and advisor on business startups and growth, HR, governance and management.

Dr. Bani, aged 64, is a graduate of University of Nairobi and holds a Doctorate (PHD) degree from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in USA. He is a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). In addition to his academic qualifications, Dr Bani is a qualified Certified Public Secretary (CPS (K)).

Dr. Bani has garnered more than 30 years of experience in the consulting industry and has helped more than 40 organizations in private and public sector including NGOs. He has advised Governments and NGOs on best governance practices, as well as providing guidance for both HR and management standards. He brings passion to his work and establishes strong client relationships based on trust, collaboration and delivered results. Prior to starting Stirling Consultants, Bani was the Deputy Director at Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) where he explored management and governance opportunities and promoted various value-added products and services. Dr Bani is married with 3 children (Nelly, Allan and Noah)
